As a kid’s fashion photographer I love, love, love what I do! The most frustrating part of this gig is that I capture images for awesome labels and then I want to show them to you STRAIGHT AWAY. The reality of course is that summer shoots in winter, winter shoots in summer and designers (understandably) like to keep their amazing work under wraps until it’s released. #firstworldproblems for me – I know – but being excited about the collaboration is a great feeling and I always desperately want to showcase my designers and the resulting images!
So, here we are – I am so exited to be able to finally blog these fab pics for uber cool Australian kids fashion label Phoenix & The Fox. Shot ‘way back when’ we have been eagerly waiting for crazy-talented Jenn to release this range so we can share it with all of you…
Firstly, we have a major ‘stop the press’ to announce! Jen, designer and owner, has just received the most outstanding honour, Phoenix and the Fox has been named Best New Talent 2016 at the GALA (Gifts and Life In Style Awards). High five to Jen – we could not be more delighted for her. Talent, hard work and passion pay off!
The Winter 2016 kids fashion photography for Phoenix and the Fox was a studio shoot with the focus on clean lines, bright whites and lots of cool kids. Jen designs her own textiles so her prints are stunning and this range has medieval, Game-of-Thrones vibe with animal prints, dragons and rose motifs. Our mini models rocked this shoot with big attitudes (help!) and a pint-sized dose of street red (adorable!)
