I love kids birthday parties, not just because I have a terrible weakness for cake. I love the look on the birthday kids face as the cake gets set in front of them, I love the innocent moment presents are handed over or snatched as they sometimes are. Fairy bread, games, balloons, the smiles on everyone’s faces. The chaos! I guess it all reminds me of my own childhood birthday parties.

Oscar’s birthday was no exception, except for the obvious effort mum had gone to in making it such a special 3rd birthday. Harnessing her inner party planner, this was one celebration to impress. After some bike riding fun, the kids enjoyed their personal snack packs, followed by a treasure hunt, bubble blowing and CAKE!

Mum has reported that Oscar thoroughly enjoyed his day and was even too tired to open his presents! Bless him.
