When I photographed this family to capture them before the arrival of baby number two, mum had told me she was having another girl, and that they had a few names chosen however were undecided on which one yet. So when I received an email saying this gorgeous girl had arrived into the world, I immediately replied eager to know the name they had chosen.  I was met with “No name as yet – really struggling to decide” – we set the date for the session. Arriving on the day I found out that they had finally decided on naming her Sophie Georgia, though the day before she was Georgia and the day before that Sophie, so back and forward it was and I am happy to say I have not yet heard that it’s been changed again!

I posted on my facebook page that I was off to photograph my first no-name baby, I had a flurry of responses from people saying either them or their children were nameless for a number of days to a number of weeks. As someone who may or may not ( ;) ) already have baby names chosen, I find this so amazing.

So here we are, here is Sophie with her big sister Mia and their proud mum and dad. How gorgeous is Sophie’s full head of dark hair, so much different to Mia when she was this age.
