Spiders, Snakes and Butterflies | Sydney Childrens Photographer

I had a ridiculously hard time picking which images to blog from this mornings session with Lilly her brother Jonah and their full of beans dog Bessie. I selected about 30 to blog initially, and if I could I would have blogged them all, I had to pick my faves, here are just a few.

I had a great time playing in the super long grass, that was until Jonah started going on about Redback spiders, then what came to mind next was snakes… eeek. Thankfuly we didn’t encounter either of them.

Jonah picked some flowers for his mum which I captured below, what I failed to capture was the moment Bessie ate them, it’s the thought that counts right? Well that’s what we told mum.

I think it’s so wonderful how close these two are. In regards to the images below and many others I took, I did not once instruct them to hold hands or for Lilly to plant a big kiss on Jonah, I just let them do their thing. It’s just so great to see the love and admiration they have to each other. However… I am sure mum and dad might disagree because they get to see the other side of them too ;-)

steph - These are gorgeous! I love the love! The one of the kids sticking their tongues out at each other is PRICELESS!! That one would be HUGE, over my fireplace. Yep! And Bessie is so cute. The one of her in the top row is one of my all time faves. I also love the butterfly. I think it’s a great detail to show how spectacular the day was. Thanks for posting!!
