I LOVE traveling, I love airports and flying (taking off and landing freaks me out a bit) I love arriving at a new destination (hate leaving that destination), I dream of travel and have a scrapbook of sorts dedicated to all the places I dream about visiting. Recently I wrote out a list, 30 before 30, my list of 30 things I would like to achieve before I turn 30, I am 25 next month so I have 5 years to get this list crossed off. I was also considering attempting 30 before 30 in regards to countries, I have visited 17 different countries so far so I have 5 years to visit 13 more, totally do-able right? here’s to hoping!
I have a few friends leaving this week to travel around South East Asia for 6 weeks, another friend just moved to Singapore yesterday, I went to Fiji a few weeks ago, Paulis still riding his bike across Australia, my parents are off to Hawaii in 4 weeks, a friend just got back from Thailand and next Friday he moves to Canada. Needless to say, I am itching to get away again with all this travel talk and goodbyes.
I am suppose to be traveling around Australia in September but as always with my travel dreams, they seem to be not going to plan, well the truth is I am not going to get to camper van around Australia (this was on my 30 before 30 list), sure I could do a tour of some sort but it’s just not the same, I want to camper van it. So.. Now what? do I find another country to visit instead… ummm YESSS!
Where? I don’t know yet!.. suggestions please :) I just sent an SOS email to my friend in San Francisco, hoping he will be able to help me with me travel rut.
