Leading Sydney photographer, Elise Ellsmore believes everyone has a story. A personal ‘footprint in time’ that must be captured visually to be shared, enjoyed and treasured for years to come. A love of her own family and a passion for beautiful, candid images has taken Elise on a life-long journey that began as a 10-year old with a camera in hand to that of a sought-after visual artist known for capturing timeless, stylish images.

Specialising in lifestyle portraiture, Elise is the principal of Le Coco and shoots natural light photography based in metropolitan Sydney but servicing a loyal and diverse clientele from the Southern Highlands to the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Known for her relaxed, natural manner and ability to make even the most uncomfortable subject feel fabulous in front of the lense, Elise’s success is built on her stunning images, strong interpersonal skills and a product offering sought after by her clients. Whether photographing newborns, families or couples Elise places great emphasis on not just capturing breath-taking images but on the complete client experience. From first contact to final viewings, Elise is adamant that her clients be deeply touched by not only the end product but thoroughly delighted with the process that achieved them.

When asked why she loves photography, Elise’s passion is overwhelming.

‘It’s hard to express how important photography is…’ she comments. ‘…but long after the moment is gone beautiful images remain. As life changes we lose ourselves in the chaos that is the everyday, stories are lost, sometimes people are lost and precious moments evaporate before our eyes. Images are the lasting, tangible reminder of just how perfect a second in time was’.

Elise is an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers. (AIPP).
