I first met this lovely family when Anouk was just days old, I was delighted when I received an email almost 2 years later telling me they had moved to the desert state of Utah, USA… I wasn’t so much delighted about the move, more about the fact they missed Sydney so much and were coming back for Christmas and wanted to organise a relaxed shoot capturing them in their favourite city. As I sat reading the email, ideas swirled in my head and as we chatted back and forth and planned the shoot I learned that Anouks current fave book was Stanly The Manly Ferry, so it was a no brainer that we had to take a trip to Manly on “Stanly”, and spend the afternoon doing exactly what they came to Sydney to do… enjoy the beach and eat ice cream haha.

Today I received an email saying the photos had made their way to them on the other side of the world and these touching words from Eveline..

I don’t know how you do it, but just the fact that you turn my camera-shy husband into a beaming daddy in all those photos is astonishing.
